Aftermarket Locking Hub Brand Opinion
Had one of my Warn hubs off yesterday checking the spindle nut torque. Was looking at the body and noticed is has cracks in it so I will be buying new hubs.
Wanted to get some opinions of what you think of the aftermarket brands, Warn, Superwinch and Mile Marker. Issues, problems and such.

I'm a Warn fan here. I've noticed that the working (inner) part of the Warns seems to be identical between the premiums and the standards. The inner part is what actually locks the axles to the rotor hub. The dials are nicer on the premiums, no doubt, but I bought standards the last time. Before I bought the last time, I checked where the hubs are made.
Warns are still made in the USA
Milemarker are made in China, according to their website "Mile Marker operates from its headquarters in Pompano Beach, Florida, its primary distribution center in Kalama, Washington and from its plant in China."
Superwinch has manufacturing facilities in South America and the UK, but I believe the hubs are made by AVM, which is in Brazil.

Warn vs MM. Milemarker Hubs have many stainless parts and I think will hold up the best to corrosion, but the reason I've stayed away is because, from what I've heard, the MileMarkers have a very short turn between locked and unlocked, this means you have to apply more torque to twist them. I've heard that they even come with a tool that you are supposed to carry with you to help turn them.
I'm sure that it's not super hard, but I like the idea of a nice easy turn to engage the hubs. My vote is for Warn premiums... but if money is no object, I'd see about some OEM hubs.
Just a note, dont' bother with the Warn standard hubs. I put a set on mine to replace the stock autos since one was shot, and the finish on the warns started chipping extremely soon. They've always functioned fine but are getting very ugly now.
