Found LED bed lights at Auto Zone for $25. Figured if they only last a year great. The hard work is done at that point. Wired mine to an upfitter. I was happy with the performance.
Well after stopping by Auto zone today no explanation (go figure) on where to find them on the website. Part number yielded no results; on Autozones website or Google. Even the manufacturer website had nothing. These just appeared on the shelves here quite recently, perhaps nobody has updated their websites.
But the Autozones up here still have them, took this one while I was there today to give you guys a visual of what to look for.......

Cool, thanks for looking. For $25 they couldn't be worse than the Recons I paid $60 for a few years back that only lasted a little over a year.
I had mine wired to an upfitter switch but got tired of having to have the key on to operate the upfitter switch to turn the bed lights on... I ended up wiring a waterproof switch in the bed and tied it into the tail lights. So I can have the parking/headlights on and use the switch for the bed lights or I can hit the unlock button on the keyless entry and activate the bed lights for a short time.

That may very well change. I put a set in my dad's truck that way. On mine I had run a line from an upfitter to my toolbox just to have a switched power source available on a whim, so I used that for the time being.
