Locking Gas Caps

Does anyone use one?
My tank was drained sometime this week, but I've been told not to use a locking cap because the key hole allows water to seep into the tank.
Any thoughts on this?

It only takes about 5 seconds somebody to pry that cap off , then your fill tube is damaged. No I don't steal gas,i bought a truck with one on it and never had a key. Ended up costing me a new fill tube after prying it off .I don't know about the water getting in ,if behind the cover i don't think so, surface mount , maybe.

Yeah, its an in-cab tank.. no cover. I hadn't thought about someone prying one off.
Guess the Doberman is sleeping outside for a little while.
