Supercab dually. The clip that holds my pouch of tire tools under the back seat will not come apart. The bolt just rotates with the nut. How's this bolt supposed to be secured in place? Thanks!

I think the bolt is held in place with the same kind of quick nuts like the front bumper.

Imagine a paper clip going on a piece of paper with the bottom side having the threads. Mine is loose but I can still take the tire pouch off and one and secure it.

If you can rack the nut just right, it should grab. Or apply vertical pressure while unscrewing the wing nut.

I've tried the vertical pressure thing - no help. Not sure what you mean by "rack the nut"?

Horizontal pressure so the nut grabs the sides of the sheet metal. Maybe at an angle.
