Does anyone know if they make an auxiliary idle control for an 93 F250 7.3L?

Well I think they are available. But a buddie of mine engineered his own by tapping into the cruise control circuit. You will have to study a schematic to figure out how, I don't know the specifics. He used a couple of switches, One to disable they cruise when the aux idle function is being used, and another momentary switch to energize the hold side of the cruise servo I believe.. He has way too much time on his hands evidently.

 

i did change the fast idle switch and rebulit the injector pump and changed the govoner from min-max to all speed gov. and it work super for me

I am wondering if I can somehow wire in my PS AIC to at least monitor rpms.
I dont see any way it will be able to raise/lower RPMS due to the technology difference in PS/IDI

 

if you built a circuit you could use the frequency of the tach pickup to increase or decrees the pull of the servo, but why do that when the fuel pump already has a gov in it?

i would just get a servo that can hit the accelerator arm like the stock timing advance does and tune it in
