My blower motor will not come on. If I put power directly to the motor, it will spin. I believe it is something electrical. Any ideas where to start? Thanks

It doesn't come on even in "HI" position? Then I'd start to look at power? Fuse? Then check switch to see if you have power at switch. The resistors for speed control should not come into play in "HI".

 

Sorry, should have been more clear. It doesn't come on at all. I checked the fuse, and it is good. I guess the next step is to pull the unit and start probing. I just was hoping for a quick easy fix . So much for wishful thinking

 

Here's the schematic for a 88. Can't say for sure the 89 has the
same wire color code.
