Well, if everything goes right, picking up my 2013. Exactly the same as what I have but went with the 5.0. Convenience, Chrome pkgs. Did not go with blue, again. Don't care for the new blue color. Chose black. So excited, I can't sleep! Will be off to the window tinter and muffler shop soon. Ha! :-)
Nice! We picked up our new one Saturday, its a 2013 FX4, Eco, max tow, black & black leather interior. It's nice to have a black truck again! The last truck was race red. We go back and forth between black and red nothing beats the look of a clean black truck, sometimes that can be a chalange though. Hope you like it as much as we do!

Congrats on your truck too!! Mine will be a Platinum black on black soon!
Sounds nice...I've just started looking at the new 2013 trucks but haven't decided yet. One thing is for sure...I do love the look of nice clean black paint...I'm just hell at keeping it looking like that, so no black for me. Any advice on how to keep the swirl marks from showing?
Sounds like a nice looking truck. Black and chrome is an awesome look. I have about a month to go before my new Lariat shows up, so I'm counting down the days.

The way you keep swirl marks from "showing" is to not put them into your paint!! Look up two bucket wash on YouTube and a good one is from JunkMan 2000. He has all sorts of videos to teach people how to "remove" swirl marks by fixing your clear coat and how to keep from putting them back in your paint again. Covering up swirl marks with fillers does not get rid of them...they are scratches in your cars clear coat and have to be removed properly. One word of warning though...once you get that detailing bug it is hard to ever look at paint the same way again! Good luck!

OMG OMG OMG - No wonder I like dirty old faded trucks...I thought I was being nice by using car wash soap instead of laundry detergent LMAO
Traded it. Already had 75k miles. Still was in great shape but the new generation plus the high miles just made me do it I looove this new truck. So smooth. So beautiful.
Congrads! I guess they finally decided to work with you then? 75k is high miles? The 02 F150 work truck I got to run the job I'm working on has 222,300 miles on it, and I'll be putting 110 mi a day more on it. Yes I'm a little leary but if it breaks down the company has to send the rollback with a replacement for me. Plus it keeps 110 mi/day off MY truck
High miles for a truck I still owe 18 grand on? Yes.
They ended up giving me 22,5 for it. So I was happy. Although last night after the dealer closed I drove around back to find it. Kind of made me sad.
My husbands explorer has 155k. But paid off so not such a big deal. I am always a little hesitant about if something aerious did break and I had a payment on a truck with no warranty.
Going to use his explorer for work more often and try not to put theirs on this so quickly.
