Looking for an aux idle controle module

If you aren't going to be using a PTO decvide on the trans then you might simply consider a custom chip with a high idle setting as one of your choices. This will give you high idle without also increasing transmission line pressure (like the OEM PTO enable circuit does). Sometimes the trans fluid will heat up and burp out the front seal when using the OEM high idle or the AIC module

I am sure you know, but as a reminder the brake light has to be on in the dash cluster to use any function. I just barely touch my brake just enough for it to trip the light.

$175 is a pretty good price for a new unit. Nice score!
I bought one off eBay a couple of years ago for around $15 (plus shipping) and it came with the bracket and cable. In December I noticed they were going crazy for those things online so I listed it on ebay and it sold for $275. That is crazy...so I was happy to let it go for that price. I wasn't really using it anyway since two of my trucks have a high idle setting on the PCM chip and the other truck has a PTO trans so the OEM high idle feature functions.

Is your trans a PTO type? If so, then you can use the PTO circuit wires. The blue with yellow tracer wire in the AIC harness won't work....you need to find the other wires that are next to the pass thru customer access wires. Hang tight and I will post a photo in the morning that will help.

Yes it is a PTO trans. I think the wire was blue and white... it was right near where the 4 customer use wires end at.
I searched on here and could not find it.. so I googled it and found your link...

This has all the info I need I guess.
looks like I just have to put power to the light blue/ yellow wire, from my upfitter switch right? Does it matter where I hook into the wire harness as long as it is that wire?
