weard noise problem
sorry for so many questions but I just got this truck and have 3 months warranty on it, so get it fixed before it is over. Also this is the newest vehicle I have had, I have a 1999 contour sport and a 2000 F350 dually.
Anyway I think I have fixed the codes that it had and the motor sounded like the fan was working way over time ( a loud fan noise when you step on the gas) I put a better filter in and did a mod to the intake piping until I get a good air system. But 2 things bother me:
1) when you are driving under mild load I can hear a growling or almost sounds like a dull vibration sound. It sounds like it is on the RT side but you can hear it better from the drivers seat. It is not real loud but it is there, not all the time but when you step on the gas or under a mild load.
2) when I slow to go around a corner up a hill and step on the gas again it hiccups.... like no fuel the fuel.
Any help would be great!!
