burning oil

i have a 2001 excursoin 4x4 v10 and i recently changed the oil in it last month and checked this morning and i noticed that the dip stick was showing no oil at all what would cause this problem and whats the fix for it

Come on man, give us a more information than that unless you want some BS responces. Milage? Exhaust? Mods?Does it idle/run fine? Under poweder??

Did you check when the engine was cold warm or hot. Don't mean to ask silly questions but we need more info.

How much oil did you put in it? Did you check it after you changed it? How many miles have you done since then?

All of what was asked above. It could be a clogged pcv valve, valve stem seals or just running hard and not checking things. I usually lose a qt every 3k in my 5.4
