I-Beam suspension

So my '89 F-250 is showing it's age in many different ways these days, and I think I posted here already a long time ago about my tires toeing out when I back up. After replacing many parts in the suspension (ball joints, tie rods, drag link, etc.), I still have the toe out problem. I've done some googling on it and it seems to be the old I-beam suspension giving me the headache. Is there any way to cure this by repairing something in the suspension, or is it only fixed by replacement or the selling of the vehicle? Any help I can get on this is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Have you checked the TTB arm pivot bushings (where the TTB arm attaches to the frame)? It's likely they are worn out.

Toe out or Toe in ??
Camber Negative or Camber Positive ??

Looking from the top down ...
Front of truck.
Toe out ... \ /
Toe in ... / \
Rear of truck.

Looking towards the front of truck ...
Top of tire.
Camber Positive ... \ /
Camber Negative ... / \
Bottom of tire.

Yup, I see you said Toe out ... That is why I asked, That is not the norm!
It is normal for them to toe in and go negative camber after backing up. It is a combination of camber/caster/toe and squishy bushings that cause it.

Check your I-beam pivot bushings and the trailing arm bushings.

Ultimately it really doesn't matter going backwards, unless you backup more then you go forward, As long as it's all good going forward. Yup, I know it bugs ya ... Me too!

-Enjoy

If everything is in good shape and the alignment is right there is nothing to worry about, all of these trucks do the /-\ (top of tire leaning in) thing after backing up..

Relax, it's normal.....
