Put some more pictures up if any one cares. I took the front air dam off below the bumper, put the tow hooks back in the frame, and put on xenon flares.
Thanks guys, it's not as big as HI-ROLN'S but I drive it about 50 miles a day and pull trailers with it so I don't "think" it's going to go any higher. I'm not totally happy with the flares but I think it's mostly the paint and the way the guy put them on. If it ever gets good and hot i'm going to take them of and spend the time to put them on myself the right way. I took the air dam off just for the heck of it. Basically to see if it would make it look bigger/meaner. The pictures don't really show it to good but I think it worked.
SCREW HI-ROLN! . I like it Hobert I was thinking about the same flares for a while now. Now I know how they look on my same truck. I like em. What do you think about them?
After looking at your gallery I like them ALOT! whatr brand and model are those flares?
To be honest with you I don't think I would buy these flares again. They do really blend in to the body lines nice, but they rely alot on the double sided tape to hold them against the fender. I think the guy that put them on just wanted to get done or somthing. They are only on for about a month or so and the tape is already coming off the fender. Once I take the time to do it myself I will probally change my mind about them.
They are XENON part #8430 and cost me $330, and an additional $90 to get them painted which i'm also not real happy how they came out. I don't think they put enough flex additive in or somthing because there are some real fine stress cracks in them already, and along the edges you can see where there clear coat does not cover completely.
I would probabley like the flares if the paint and instalation would have turned out better. However if I had enough nerve to take the sawzall to my fenders I'd have a set of pocket style cout-out flares on it left in the black plastic color. I think they look cool
Any way sorry for the long post i'm just not real happy with "kratzer's body shop"
