The other day I was pulling out of a parking lot into traffice and my truck shut down, no warning, I was able to coast into another parking lot, turned the key off, started with no issues and made it to my destination. Yesterday the same thing occured, no warning just shut down. My truck has 47,000+ miles on it. Any insight as to where to start trouble shooting would be very much appreciated. Thank you!
I went to the local parts store and had them plug in a code reader. I was throwing a P0109, which is a M.A.P sensor. I have determined that I do not have an actual map sensor, but it is part of the egr module. I have located a test to see if the the sensor is bad or not. I have cleaned my throttle body. I'm about to go drop the spare tire to check the fuel pump module. I will update as I run through my trouble shootings. Again appreciate the insight!
