Kris, glad you found them. Went looking for the address on google the other day, turned out to be non-existent. Had it in my head that street was residential, but didn't trust my memory. I was right, not only residential, but the number they have doesn't exist either. Lists it at #10, houses start in the 90s & don't go below 60s (short street). On the bright side, I got to see something you don't see much these days. Lemme see IF I can get a pic up here. FINALLY figured it out. Censored, expletive deleted computers!!!!

it's in a weird location kinda off the beaten path, I thought I was going the wrong way and then I saw the linex sign pointing to a warehouse lolhttps://maps.google.com/maps?ie=UTF-...d=0CJQBEPwSMAA

How's it going people?

I've spent most of the day shopping with the wife. Both paychecks are in the bank and now its time for groceries. It wouldn't have been too bad, but I had to get Mom's too. Her back has been bothering her so she wasn't up to doing it yesterday.

While I was out, I saw a decent bumpside in town. I figure it was older than mine by the grill, but you never can tell. It wasn't too bad looking, other than the huge hood scoop on it. I tried to snap a picture, but it was being driven by a kid who was trying to do a burnout leaving the parking lot. Try as he might, he couldn't break the rubber loose. Kind of sad to see a otherwise nice truck being thrown around like that.

I'm planning on going out to check how far the '71 sunk in this week. I expect it will have, but I'm not sure how much. If its not bad and it gets warm enough, I might try to get the hood and inner fenders off of it.

Well holy crap, what a day I had!

I got tail lights on the '52 and all the external lights except for a license plate light working. I think I had a brain aneurism along the way, but they work now. Whew.

Well after slipping and sliding on icy roads all the way to Brighton, then going to Buffalo Run in Miami and hitting $221 on a dollar machine 10 minutes of being there, the rest of the day was fun.

Downstream Casino got some of it back, but we had a great dinner and clear roads going back home. Hope to have nice weather tomorrow building a wheel chair ramp for Penny's co-workers husband......

Good morning Missouri...and Rich. Looks like you don't get a moments rest at any point man. Kudos to you for building the wheelchair ramp for her coworker, you're a good man. Have a great day, coffee's done and I'm going to see if I can paint a Jeep bumper today.

Good Morning Everybody!

I got the coffee going and the living room straightened up. I hope to get in a little shop time today before the game. Go Ravens!

This '52 is testing my mettle. I'm trying to get a truck that never had two tail lights, let alone turn signals, to have everything a newer vehicle would have. Brake lights are proving to be a challenge. I have it figured out, but I need to go to Radio Shack and get a couple diodes. Also, everything in the truck is 61 years old. Even if the 6 volt part WOULD work, the ones in THIS truck DON'T, because of their age and they're just broken. I hope this guy gets the big picture when I hand him his bill.

Morning everyone.

Another cold blustery day here it seems. Not much on the agenda for today - probably going to get started on 2012 taxes if everything I need has arrived. I'm hoping that the finance manager will let have a small portion to spend on the '71. Once that's done, I'm going to go back to work on the fenders getting them cleaned up.

RC - I'm working on trying to find a day to head your way with them. I'm also toying with trying to have the inners off so I can let you see if they can be saved or not.

Well I guess it's too windy for me to burn brush today. So there goes my excuse for not going to a superbowl party. I'm still a little upset that New England is not playing today. Ok by a little I mean VERY lol

not feeling so well today so not getting much done.. started the ford up yesterday.. i fired right up and ran alot better.. BUT!!!!.. the carter carb i rebuilt dont seem to adjust very well.. i can close the air-fuel screw all the way in and dont make much of a difference.. thinking (more hoping for) maybe a vacuum leak.. i need to go to the yard and cut off another exhaust pipe the one i have is close but no cigar.. i can see why the trans detent was never hooked up, the lever i think is from a car and cant be used on what i have.. other than that all is going well

I put the chili in the crock pot around 1300. It should be ready for the kick off. Chili and chips in front of the Superbowl. It should be a good night.

I'm back from the garage. I've scraped and wire brushed the back sides of the fenders and knocked out a couple of small dents.

Pictures on the build thread...
