They call it Medium Flint, but pretty close to the interior of the Mustang. And she is very heavy, I just noticed the tracks in the yard this morning... And Here I though that my yard had settled over 7 years already.
When I add the fog's I'll be using the OE switch and inserting the pin into the harness to a relay. Same as a dodge that I had a while back. I do not like aftermarket switches and splices. The same when I do the head unit installs, the harness that I make ends up looking factory.
You sound like me! It took me a very long time to put even two gauges in my X because they weren't a factory deal. I like factory parts and look but sometimes with just a touch of custom that isn't totally apparent with first look.
I looked up the specs on it and V10 4WD was given as 7190 empty.
Yeah, she's every bit of 7200. But handles remarkably well for something that big with leaf springs all the way around. I was happy to see that the PO put Gas Magnums on it while he had it.

Yeah, same way, I like "subtle, but custom" using OE parts wherever possible, or like my Mustang, I make it look like the factory should have in the first place.
Nice truck Matt!
Thanks!
Congrats Matt!
180 days till Carlisle!
Thanks Steve! We are still up in the air on Carlisle, we may be in FL for Michelle's Tupperware convention/Our Honeymoon. Of course now that we bought this.... I may at least have to come up on Saturday. We would be boarding the autotrain that Sunday most likely.
Welcome! Looks good man!
Thanks! I look forward to spending some time with you peeps. As always, I have access to technical resources, Alldata, parts catalogs etc so feel free to ask.
Now for another question, what are everyones feelings towards the Uniroyal Laredo HD/H tires. The dealer when they did all the work, this is the tire they put on. Load range E, they seem to ride good, and are not noisy that I can tell. Any experience with these?
VA, is there an ad for your's somwhere or could you pm me particulars. I already have an Ex, but if I could talk my wife into one it might be the type yours is.
Thanks, we do and we are looking forward to putting some miles on her with the trailer.

Congrats on the new purchase. Now you can experiment with the Dremel before I hack my dash up for the radio install lol
It's ok, I dont plan on lifting it any more than the spring swap is going to. I'll leave that to Scott and Eric. Michelle still has to be able to get into it. The Deck should be in the next month or so.
Congrats Matt, yours was built very close to my old one (1/10/02 vs 1/30/02). It looks VERY clean, which definitely makes it worth your time.
I agree about the camera flash distorting the color of the plastic. I've had the same happen with Parchment plastic before as well. All looks fine in daylight/shade though.
