Headers to Breath Better
Hi, i need to find out where to get a Great set of Headers for my 1965 4X2 F-100 , going to install a 351w ,& and C4 trans. & i might need to go to a C-6 later on not sure , but the C-4 is ready to go & reman. with 5,000 miles on it i did the rebuild 15 years ago , just needs new seals easy fix. I just don't want to get headers that will not fit , i was thinking on mustang headers for 69-73 year. but You Guy's are the Experts.. or have ran in to these problems & can help !!! My advice is to buy Ford Racing Headers for your Ford engine...I have them with my Ford 302 engine ( i have shorty headers)
and they obviously bolted up perfectly...the other thing worth mentioning is they are nice and thick on the face portion of the
headers, so warping and such is not an issue. Been on for a year and are still 100%. They aren't cheap, but what the hell is when
it comes to fixing these damned trucks.

I have a set of Summit brand long tubes on my 302. They were listed for a later year truck with a 302. They fit quite well with only a little bit of trimming to the inner fender on the passenger side for clearance. I would bet they have headers for a 351 in a later year Ford truck as well.

Thanks guys , I do want to run long tube headers though , going to make the engine a Roller motor & get a great set of heads to get the most I can get out of it for a daily driver ..
