Looks to be a variation of a 2B547 (BRAKE LOAD SENSING PROPORTIONING VALVE) Sec 23 Pg 6
I need to know the year and model (looks to be 1985 F250 based on your Garage entry under your username in the top-left corner (I don't display sigs)) as well as:

The rear brakes lock up too easily.
I'm about to do a complete brake refurb from the MC to the rear. Once I do that I'll see if there's any change, but I want to have a solution in my back pocket, so to speak, in case there's no change in it's operation.
Boy, this post is gonna be filled with bad news....
The Parts Catalog says it could be one of two:
E5TZ-2B547-F - Fits 1985/ F250 4WD with 6.9L or 7.5L engine with rear springs E3TZ-5560-T E5TZ-2B547-C - Fits 1985/ F250 4WD with 6.9L or 7.5L engine with rear springs E3TZ-5560-M Notice, those spring numbers are factory replacement spring numbers, not the numbers on the springs your truck came with.
I have absolutely no idea which rear springs you would need and likely neither do you.
To add to that, the parts catalog doesn't give complete spring information, so even if I had a code from your Certification Label I couldn't do anything with it.
More bad news.... for the -F variant, no dealers or NOS vendors have any.
I show two Ford dealers who each claim to have one of the -C variant (whether they could find it or not is anybody's guess):
Well, it looks like the manually adjustable valve will be the route I take if I need one. I can't imagine 1 of only 2 available NOS valves being anywhere close to only $45.
Thanks much for the info.
The issue I see that you might run into would be having to adjust it for each different load condition. My truck will lock the rear wheels during a panic stop unloaded, always has.
Yeah, I can see that as a possible issue, but I'm generally either very lightly loaded, or very heavily loaded.
Locking during a panic stop is one thing, but locking when the road is wet at a very light stop (or dry road with just a slightly more aggressive stop) isn't good.
Looking for something else I came across this thread I started and never provided a result.
I took load proportioning valve apart, cleaned it up, painted it and lubed the moving parts with Never-Seez and it worked fine.
