Hello from Long Island
Hi everyone, I've kinda lurked around here for a few days, finally figured I'd jump in and say hi.
Currently don't drive a truck, or even a Ford for that matter (because some drunk wrecked my Taurus), but hopefully that'll change soon!
I'm looking forward to enjoying the site and the knowledge and experience here, I'm hoping it'll be helpful as I'm looking at purchasing a '81 f-100 within the next few days!
Little background on me, I love Fords, learned to drive in my dad's '89 F250 w/ a stick.

Haha, nope! Just a bit further east!
It'll be ready to drive! Although my plan (once summer hits, these LI winters can be unpredictable lately. One day it's 50 the next it's -5.) is to paint the entire truck white, roll on some Monstaliner in the bed, install the famous Ford Red interior, and put some blue pinstripes on the outside! 'MURICA.
...and eventually rebuild the straight 6.
That's about it!
