2/4 drop, handling/ride
I have a base model 150 4.2L with the Sport Package......yeah my only option cost me about 500 bucks....what can I say I am cheap, and broke.
Anyways, I drive the thing like a bat out of hades, if you saw me you would be convinced that I thought it was a sports car. While I would rather lift a truck, this thing is only 2wd and has to small a engine to push large tires.
Does anyone know of a good 2/4 drop for an 02 150, and know of its ride and performance quality, I would prefer to keep at least a decent ride as I drive ALOT, at lest 2500 miles a month, and I would only want to do this if it gives mea signifigant handling advantage over what it has now. Also, I might add a better sway bars to it to help out some more.. If possible I do not want to lose any suspension travel.

Belltech makes a 3/4 for an 02 150. They claim that there is no change in the oem geometry. I have looked into dropping my p/u but havent convinced myself yet...LOL

I'm wanting to do the same thing to my F150 V6. One installer said that all the kits are designed for the extra weight of the V8. Has anyone actually installed the beltech on a v6 and how much is the real world drop?
