4 bolt main 460?

Any chance that a 460 in a 76 ranchero had a 4 bolt main?

There were no 4-bolt 460s produced. '70/71 SCJ and some CJs received the only 385 4-bolts and they were 429s.

Ok, thanks did not knwo for sure, I knew there were some 429 4 bolts, the Boss 9 motor , can you turn a two bolt into a four?

I know you can with chevies milodon makes them. You just drill two more wholes in you block (at an angle) and tap them.

Call a few machine shops that do H.P. motors

4 bolt main 460?

There are a couple of conversion kits to convert 385 2-bolt to 4-bolt blocks. Haven't personally done one, but hear good reports.
The 2-bolt will easily handle 700hp, so you must be planning something interesting.

Just a quistion, I believe in high HP engines, I have plasn for all my motors.....all of them include a blower.....hmmmm........maybe I should go to a shrink?
