Wiring help!

I have always had v-8 fords to work on now I have a 92 E150 6I and trying to work on starting issues. The positive cable ftom the battery was arcing and so I replaced the ends and now the engine turns over but wont fire. Originally I had issues with bad contact so I made sure I had good ground contact and now nothing. I need a diagram of placement of relays, parts and items that I need to check. I have schematics but not the actual layout. I also have issues due to disability asI have broken my back several times and cannot crawl in or out of the engine compartment like before. Anyhelp?

A factory EVTM would be a nice book to have because it gives semi-specific locations for individual items. At the very least it would give you info whether its up top or under your van. Schematically they've been invaluable to a few projects on E250's I've owned.

Here's the exact manual: 1992 Ford Econoline Van E150 E250 Wiring Shop Service Dealer Repair Manual | eBay. Great price too!

If you took the battery + off the solenoid, more than likely you accidentally left off a smaller wire on the large bat + lug on the solenoid. Most Fords have a smaller wire under the large one that runs the whole vehicle.
