A trade for a 79 from a 90 huh? I would do it. The t-case thing IS a concern meaning the 205(?) would need a rebuild if you kept it. I don't know anything about BorgWarner...
EDIT: Forgot to say, for the trim, it shouldn't be too hard to find it in a junkyard.
