So I have replaced the brake pressure switch, the brake interlock ,and the #13 fuse. I had to use one end of the wire harness that came with the brake pressure switch to replace the old one....it was melted, and looked bad. So That plug is spliced on there.
The fuse still blows. every time I plug the brake pressure switch in the fuse blows. Even with the VSS unhooked it still blows....What is the Problem?????? thanks for the help
Forgot to add that the wife told me that the cruise hadnt been working before this....This is her truck...could be half the problem
Just jump on here to see about me brakes on my daugthers 93; and saw your post; to me either you got a expose wire that causes your fuse to blow or the switch has some type of related amp problem with the fuse capacity. I'm leaning more towards short some were.
hope this helps trouble shoot your issue.
