Well I got her to fire, it was the ignition module wiring was not right, when I got the truck it was a wiring mess and its just now coming to life againe, my question now is my truck has the apm gage but the "I" wire on the voltage regulator is hot, my altinator is not charging, I put a tester on it to confirm it, but when I ran a wire from the " I" wire to the altinator it started to charge? Any ideas on this one? Thanks.
If you have an ammeter (amp gauge), you are not supposed to have anything connected to the 'I' terminal. It is unused. The 'I' terminal is only for trucks with an ALT light.
Please explain how your charging system is wired, and what you are doing to determine that it's not charging. In other words, what do you mean by "putting a tester on to confirm it" - do you mean you measured the battery voltage? Please be specific with what you're doing and what you're working with.
Yes I measured the voltage without the wire from the "I" terminal hooked up the voltage keep falling, with it hooked up it was steady at around 13.97 volts with lights on and such, as for how it's wired up I really don't know how to explaine it I'll try to post a picture tomorrow to help give a better idea. As you have told me I know that the "I" wire should not be used with the amp gage but why is it hot?

That depends on where you connected the other side (you said you connected it to the alternator, but did not say which terminal), and how the rest of the system is connected. Either way, the wire is hot because an excessive amount of current is flowing through it.
