I gotta agree with these guys. There's a lot of maybes in here. Too early for a full rebuild if that truck was well cared for. Cosmetic condition indicates it was not well cared for. Usually cosmetic and mechanical conditions go hand in hand. Take a look at the garages of the people that have posted responses here. Not many let their rigs fester with stains and rips in the seats and moderate amounts of body damage. Takes a certain individual to stick with an older vehicle period, much less one of these. Old vehicle not cared for = replaced with young vehicle because old one broke. Ok, soapbox section complete.
Took me over a year, hundreds of ads, about 30 visits, and 10 or so drives to find mine. Don't worry, it'll come along. Very doubtful he'll come down to 5k from 12k and who knows what you might really be in for there. You obviously know what you're looking for, just be patient enough for it to get here.

Everyone is aware that this is also posted in the SD section too. I said it there and ill say it again here. It's not worth 5,000. It's a beat to death used work truck. My ex has 285,000 on it and its the original everything running with no issues. I don't buy the fact that he's never used the 4x4. He's trying to dump his money pit. Yes it is an XL according too the pics in his album.

Yepp it's an XL. And sorry for the double thread, (I wasn't sure which to post in ). As far as coming down I'll just have to offer and see what he says. Note this does NOT mean I will buy this truck. I think I'll look over it more, look through his receipts. And prolly drive it again. I may just wait and see what others come up..

I dont know the truck but can verify the mileage would have to be all highway, that town is tiny and in the middle of nowhere
