ignition problem
You can test the primary & secondary windings resistance, to see if any are open circuit. If thats ok, most autoparts stores can bench check the coilpack for electrical output at no cost. If the old ones output voltage checks ok, you have a known good spare. Just in case Murphys Law is messing with you, you did have the new coilpack bench tested before leaving the store with it.....right?????
Do you have a CEL lit, if so, scan the computer for trouble codes & post All code Numbers, as they can offer up good trouble shooting clues.
Which two plug wires don't seem to have spark???? If they are on the same coilpack winding, check to see if that winding is getting B+ at KOEO & that the computer is ground switching that coil packs primary.
Did this problem come about after some event????
Give us some more clues & maybe the forum can make a more focused guess.
Again, which coilpack windings are without spark????
If the trigger module were bad, you wouldn't have any spark output from the coilpacks.
You could swap coilpacks & see if the problem follows the coilpack, if it doesn't, again check the troubled coilpack electrical connector contacts for B+ at KOEO for the troubled winding. If you have B+ at KOEO, then look for a wiring problem back to the ECM, or an ECM ground switching driver problem for that coilpacks winding.
Again, did this problem come about after some "event"????
More thoughts for consideration, keep us posted on your trouble shoot.
