I just bought this 2002 7.3 for my 15 year old son
We are wanting to put a winch bumper on and a black
Grill and tinted headlights .
With cheap parts .
Ideals please
You're pretty lucky that it already has 08+ mirrors!
If your handy, you can buy the Road Armor or Iron Cross bumpers in plain steel, the paint or bed-line yourself. If you buy one for an 05 Ex, then replace the headlights with an 05+ Super duty grill and headlights.
You can get aftermarket grills and headlights pretty inexpensive.
Interesting. Bought a 15 YO a $18K excursion and now you want to put cheap parts on it?
I think besides the grill, the only place your gonna find cheap winch bumpers is craigslist. I highly doubt anyplace manufacturing new bumpers is gonna have ay cheap winch bumpers.
Good luck with the X! I hope it stays tires down all its life.
Yeah, nice Monster energy drink sticker right in the line of sight. I hope I'm not living anywhere near you, I would fear for my family. That is about the stupidest thing I've seen in awhile and I've seen 16 year old kids get WRXs before... only to total them a week later trying to drift or some other stupid BS. My condolences to whoever dies. How would you feel if your wife was killed because some parent thought the biggest SUV would be the best thing for a child to drive. Bet you'd think the other parent was a serious nimrod. At least you have that sticker in the middle of the windshield so he doesn't have to see who he hits. I'm done with you and this build, it's not safe and it's full of ignorance. I'm not going to contribute to this insanity in any way. Hope you can afford to bail your CHILD out of whatever trouble he gets himself into, and before you say it we all know he's a good kid and would never do anything stupid, good luck with that. *end rant*
