Stumped (stalls out)
This one has me puzzled. Just replaced the AC compressor on a 1994 F150 5.0 L 4x4. AC works fine but the engine now stalls out after acceleration or throttle activation when the AC is on. Idle is about 500 rpm. A scan revealed no codes and indicated system passed. It is very difficult to restart the engine when AC switch is on but turn off the AC and the motor immediately restarts???
Can't find any disconnections of vacuum lines or controls and high speed highway performance is fine. It will die sometimes when slowing down at a traffic stop or during low speed turn.
