I have a 77 f-150 4x4 and i need to know what axle i have in the front and what type of transfer case i have.the front axle is 9" and has a 10 bolt cover, the transfer case is coupled to a 4 speed standard.
also where can i find a parts breakdown for the fore mentioned parts
Like everyone said, it is a HP Dana 44 front end.
I believe that all the 4 speed equipped trucks had part time 205's in them. Two easy ways to identify: Shift pattern
205 have 2H, 4H, N, 4L
203 have High, Hi Loc, Lo, Low Loc
Also the 205 has a approx. 2" round cover on the back with 3 bolts.
