I have a 12 Crew Cab with the standard chrome step bars. They are ok but I really like the raptor ones better as they are wider, have that slit in in that actually grips your foot and just look tough....SO I am starting research on if they will or will not fit truck for truck Crewcab to Crewcab or if some fab work will need to be done? Anyone else done this or thought about it?
The cab and rocker panels are the same...so they should bolt right up. I believe this was discussed a while back if my memory serves me correctly. The only issue that might arise is that the fenders on the Raptor are slightly wider still at the base than the standard F150 so they may be a touch wider once installed. Either way this is a great idea. I'm still partial to the NFab wheel to wheel 6-step but I can see why you want the Raptor boards.

That is a steal! They are about $1500 from the dealer new for a Screw. I have looked into this too, as the Raptor running boards are the only ones I like. Parts guy says they will bolt right up. Just can't see paying $1500 for them. If you can find them, especially for $250, ****** those bad boys up! Seems to me the aftermarket should pay attention and offer something similar. I have looked and not found anything like them for our trucks.
Hey guys thanks for the replies, I guess I wasnt alone on this mod.....thanks for the pictures as thats exactley how I pictured it would look....Just have to find some at a reasonable price, My research says they will fit so thats that.
