Took the wife out to Mecum yesterday, trying to get her a little more "on board" with the idea of restoring a classic truck. Turns out this was a genius move, she couldn't believe what they were selling for....and yes she is largely unaware of the build costs but well just keep that quiet for a while.

Notable sale of the day was a fairly heavily modified 1956 F100 with a lime green paint job that we were not a fan of, couldn't believe this thing traded for just shy of $40k. I didn't get a shot of it but I'll just say it had neon lights pretty much everywhere....true story.

Pictures below, note I made a rookie mistake of bringing the wrong lens so please excuse the need for more "artsy" shots. I threw a few non Fords in the mix for a little variety......Enjoy; Eric

Thanks for sharing. I don't know what year truck the Harley Davidson emblem is on, but I believe that's a '59-'60 tank emblem.

I saw one of the brochures for this event with much of the inventory pictured. A lot of nice trucks in there. Thanks for sharing the pics. Much better than what I saw on the brochure.

Joe, its a 1956. The front end pic above it and interior shot below are the same truck. The restoration was very well done, here is another shot of it but the lighting was way off....still learning.
