Help requested

Greetings! I am a new to the forum. Please forgive me for busting in here looking for information right off, but I need some help!

I have a new 2013 F-150 4x4. I am installing the firestone air bags (ride right) to beef up the suspension when I tow heavy loads. The air bags install easy enough, but I also purchased an on board compressor with the auto-leveler kit. I'm pretty sure that was a mistake at this point.

The compressor and exhaust valve operate off of a relay (included with the kit). To operate the relay, I need to connect a wire to a 12 volt source on the ignition circuit. I'm sure this is so the compressor will not run unless the key is on.

I don't want to blindly hack into the wiring harness of my new truck so I am looking for a wiring schematic, or other instruction as to how to connect to the ignition system.

Any help would be appreciated, and again, sorry for the intrusion.

I have the same system, I hooked mine direct to the battery with an inline fuse.

I just did mine a few weeks ago same set-up and I wired direct to the battery with a fuse, I actually prefer it that way remember usually if you're loading the bed the truck is off its nice to be able to fill the bags while loading the bed without needing to turn the ignition on

What's the leak down rate of the bags? Might kind of suck to come back to the airport to a truck with a dead battery because it kept pumping up air bags while you were away.

No leak air tight and they don't self maintain just a gauge with a switch to fill and deflate. You look at the gauge and fill and deflate them to what pressure you want and let it be so if they did leak they would just go empty, but like I said mine don't leak a bit

On my system there is low pressure sensor in the system to keep 5 psi in the bags. The system has been on the truck for 2 years now and still no leaks.
