Hello, newbie from Illinois!

Hey guys I am a frequent user of this site, and figured I better introduce myself! I am Mike, I have a 54 f100, and also a 2007 F250 cc 4x4, I am finally starting to work on the 54 again. I bought the truck completely dissassembled.....bought our house recently, and finally have the garage to work on it! So far, all I have really done is stripped and painted the frame, many hours of body work/rust repair ahead of me.....Thanks for all the ideas so far, and the advice and answers in the future! Will try to post some pics soon...

side note: I think I posted a hello earlier in the wrong spot.....sorry if that caused any issues...

You make it sound like you've come to an addiction meeting! Well, if the shoe fits...

Welcome Mike, looking forward to the pics.

Hello Mike!

Besides reassembly, what are your plans for engine, tranny, paint, use?

Happy Motoring!

Hey everyone, Thanks for the kind words! I live in 20 minutes southwest of Joliet. So far plans are pretty much just to get the cab solid, aquire missing/rotten parts, and go from there. I think I want to do a drop axle in front, and spring under in the rear for starters. At this point in time, i'm thinking white will eventually be the color but who knows, I'm sure it'll be quite a while before it actually see's road time. As far as engine and tranny, I'm not sure just yet. Probably pick up a 302 or 351 eventually, whatever time and money allows.

Unless I am a bad detective, Mike is coming to see me tomorrow to look at some doors. I'll take his wife for a ride and we'll move long with the IFS upgrade plans.
