I am looking at the intake side and I seem to keep delaying in purchasing a AFE stage II or similar intake. I think the reward is there but is the reward/$$ there. It seems to me that it might be able to fabricate a box I would probably try fiberglass and bondo with the part store tube and the aftermarket filter. Has anybody tried this?
I am taking mine out. I used a stock filter with exact same results as a K&N setup. Power was great and I saw no difference in power or mileage. This one just looks ugly so back to stock I go.
