Radio Removal

Can anyone help with directions on how to remove the factory radio from my 2011 F-350?

Welcome to FTE, you first start with popping out the Sync and PowerOutlets on the lower right and left side of the radio/heater/ac control bezel. There are slots on the bottom side of these where you can use a small flat blade screw driver to pop these out. Once those are removed there is a small bolt retaining the bezel behind each one. Remove those two bolts and then gently pull on the bezel to release the push type retainers holding the bezel. Once the bezel is removed there are four small bolts holding the radio in. Once those are removed the radio just slides out.

Thanks. I started going that route but decided to find out if that's the way I should do it.

Yep...that's it. Just be aware that when pulling the bezel out, you have to kinda pull up and out. It can be a bugger, and at times it feels like you're gonna break something. But if you just put a hand near where the most resistance is, and gently jerk the thing, it will pop out.
