I bought this truck new in 2006! Has been a good truck but I need some help. I only have around 113,000 miles on it. I get a engine light while towing but no loss of power. The other day I was towing a trailer and the Engine light and the Wrench Light came on. The next Day the lights were off?? Seems like every time I hook a trailer up and pulling it for about 2 hours the light comes on but after I shut the truck off (over night) the lights go off.

Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks Mark
Look up "under boost" code po2099 in the search option and you will probably find your answer.
First thing you need to do is pull the code before you go chasing under boost codes issues like sugested above.
Way back when my truck was newer, like 25k miles on it or so I had the same problem, it was under warranty and I took it inot the dealer for reapirs, turns out there is a TSB for this issue and its fixed with a calibration update.
Now if you have the latest flash in your pcm this could be telling you that the EOT and ECT are out of acceptable range. The first thing to do tho is pull the codes. You may need a code reader that sees history codes, cause if theCEL is not on when you scan it the code will be store in history.
