My vehicle is a 1998 4WD and my winch is an old Warn 8274 that I bought in the mid 70's. Warn says that I need part #33086 (grille guard) and part #30040 (winch carrier). The winch carrier is not too expensive but the grille guard is more than I want to pay. Has anyone adapted the winch carrier to another, less expensive, grille guard? Thanks for any suggestions.
