Which model tuner do you have? I had that problem with the sct edge tsx and twice the stock file was corrupted while attempting to return it to stock. Here is what I have learned with mine: 1 make sure the truck batteries are fully charged ( I even hook up the battery charger while I am changing programs) 2 make sure the dongle is firmly in the osb port. 3 Do not touch the tuner OR dongle while it is programming. 4 Get custom tunes from Eric at Innovative Diesel for your tuner and forget about the canned tunes all together.
When you do call SCT and if you have the tsx have the dongle, tuner, and cord to plug them into your computer before even calling them.

I called SCT they tried their best to help me by reinstalling the software on the device with no luck. I had to have my PCM reflashed. SCT said they will reimburse for the reflashed from ford. I have to send the device to them so they can send me a new one. So far the customer service has been excellent with the guys down there.
