went and bought anothe prodject!!!! 351 build
just ought a 92 f150. 4x4 single cab flare side but thats a different thread.
I want to queeze it for power as I am going to enter it into a tuff truck competion. This dam dodge has been coming in and kills everyone in town.
last 2 years ive been building up my 77 bogger and only racing the mud.
this year a fords going to hit the jumps harder,faster, bigger.
Ive got a dilema keep it speed density or go for carb and cam it.
i have a 302 maf for parts but i dont have a 351 maf ecu. so maf conversions out the window.
the cab has been modified heavy by the po so wiring is getting done anyway.

You don't need a 5.8 ECU to do a MAF conversion you could use the 5.0 computer. That said you don't need a MAF conversion to do heads and a cam on this motor, GT40s and a HO cam will work on the stock SD EFI system.
