First diesel

Hi ya'll. I'm mike to the forum. I just traded my f150 4 door 4.6L. 4x4. 135000 miles. 4 door. For a 1994 f250 extended cab 4x4. 7.3L idi turbo. Dana 60s. 6 in lift with 35s. Smoke stacks. Only has a124,000. I'm the 3rd owner. Plus the guy I traded gave me 2400. Think I did good. Truck runs excellent.

I checked all the fluids. Everything is fine. Is there anything I should check?

Coolant adatives (SCA's), make sure you have protection against block cavitation.

That is a biggie. Another thing to check would be your fuel filter on the top of the passenger side of the engine. A lot of people overlook that.

I'm switching the fuel filter out tomorrow that was one of the first things I checked. Thank you guys for all the help

find yourself a 93 (or 94 idi not di) diesel owners supplement on ebay.
it's a good start for the basic maintenance intervals.
