Pros- no more egr cooler to plug and rupture, and no more nasty gas going back in the intake.

Cons- Illeagal....

With that being said I have one and love it. Just remember to use a tuner and turn off the egr valve, and also keep it connected..

Fortunately with my 2003 it doesn't throw a code when I unplug it. Does the kit take care of the red leaking hose for the cooler also?

Ya 03 early 04s dont set the cel or a code with it unplugged. I also have mine deleted and love it. Keep the valve in and plugged in to keep comp. reading right. In my opinion you should get the OilCooler/ Egr delete kit w new intake gaskets from rudys diesel for $420 rather than $350 or whatever for just the delete kit (which is just a j shaped tube w the upgraded blue hose and a new exhaust uppipe and a plug for the egr valve which i didnt even use). I just thought it was a deal when i was shopping for an oil cooler

I would like this kit. Where did you see this for $420? It shows $545.00 on their website...

Why would I need to leave the EGR plugged in? It's unplugged now and I don't see any issues. Is there something I'm missing?
