1977 crew cab questions

Hello everyone, I've found 1977 f250 crew cab 4x4 parked in a farmers yard. Body looks fairly straight, not to much rust. Don't think it's ran in years. Has a winch on the front. It's in pretty rough shape but worth fixing up. My question is how much should I offer them? I don't want to over pay and I don't want to offend them. Also how much are they worth in good shape, I think there pretty rare? Thanks for the input.

They are rare, thats for sure. On the East coast, a decent 4x4 will bring over $3000 pretty easy. 2wd bring $1500 and up. Dont let it slip away...
