This has been nagging at me for awhile. I see alot of folks with 04-06 6L out there, but hardly any 07's. Are 07's just not that common? Or did they have so little issues that most owners don't wander onto this website? Or is that model year so attrocious that no one except me owns one?? (hope not haha)

I'll add to the '07 6.0L list, no problems here and hope it stays that way.
Mine has been good to me,the ficm was replaced and i needed to do the dummy plugs because of a hot no start issue. 210,000 km running well, knock on wood
I too, just had to replace the dummy rail plugs on mine about a month ago. Other than that, no other work YET. Just approaching 150,000 kms. (90,000 miles).
In answer to the OP's question, as already mentioned the 2008 model year introduction came very early on in 2007, therefore there aren't nearly as many 2007s as there are 2006s, which are completely identical. The build date on my truck is December 2006 by the way.
Hello Mike, I read all your posts, great information. My birthday is Dec 30 /68,so we are the same age ,two days apart. Same model year truck, both from Canada and I too am a fan of big boobies. Good thing the wife doesn't read this stuff lol!

As mentioned, the '07 year was a short year, with production ending in mid December 2006. This was due to EPA emissions rules, as well as model year numbering. The earliest the '08's could be offered was March, 2007. Ford (apparently) decided that it was less of an issue to shorten the model year, given the substantial changes being offered for the 2008 model year (with 2007-EPA compliant engines).
Mine was built in the last two weeks of production. Any work done on it has been preventative in nature, with the exception of a stuck turbo.
Wow, didn't realize the 08's came out that early. Thanks for the insight guys! Mine just turned 30,000 and I've been lucky so far. I'd like to keep it that way. Time for its first coolant flush and egr valve cleaning. Hope to have it done next week.
