99 or 12
I have a 99 SD CC Lariat with 7.3 and 225k. I need to put about 5500 into the truck. New tranny and engine work..Question is, Do i keep the 99 or take money and trade it in for new F350 with the 6.7? Not big fan of truck payment but no stress if break downs. All advice is welcome!!

KEEP THE 7.3 NO MATTER WHAT!!!!
Think of it this way, for the cost of buying a new truck with all the extra insurance and registration fees, you could put half that into the 7.3 and have a truck that will out do any new rig. Plus the older trucks get better fuel mileage.
