Power vertical sliding rear window
I tried this on the aftermarket forum and only got 1 reply so I'll try again here. I have a 2001 f250 Super Duty and want to find a power rear window similar to the new Toyota's. The entire window slides down. I assume the rear seat will need to be removed/relocated to make room for the sliding mechanism. Does anyone know of an aftermarket kit available? I was wondering if I could cut one out of a Toyota 4runner and fabricate it into my f250. I also considered a Bronco but I need one with metal all around for welding. Any ideas?

You're going to have a very hard time with that, it's not something I've ever seen done. I'm sure with some fabrication it would be possible, but you're not likely to find any sort of kit to get it done.

I've given up on finding a kit but I am still looking for some type of vehicle that has a power rear window with metal on all four sides (for welding). I should be able to fabricate it to fit my F250 and re-upholster the rear interior to match. The hardest part is finding the right "donor" vehicle. If anyone has suggestions, I'm not too proud to hear em. When this project commences pictures shall be posted.
