engine on stand, finishing up overhaul, it would be nice to put the specialty tool down the distributor hole, spin the pump and ck pres and topside circulation, but on this 1986 w/460 eng I would have to put an oil filter to the block to hold pressure but i would need a adaptor/male threads at both ends and then screw on an oil filter.
in other words on my f250 truck......maybe old ford sedans back in the 60's 70' etc did not have oil cooler hook up adapter and only screwed oil filter directly to the blocks male threaded

By what's written in red, it sounds like you need the threaded adapter that screws into the block?

If that's the case, you'll have to get one out of another block, but usually the threads are wrecked taking them out because of how tight they are put in.
