Ok now I have a fuel leak. 96 7.3. Just rebuilt the fuel bowl with all new "O" rings thinking that was it. It stoped leaking for awhile. I drove it everyday for 2 weeks after and no leaks. Now after it sitting for about 2 weeks (only driving it for a 1 or 2 days during that time) it starts leaking again in the valley of the motor and drips out the back on the motor. I need an idea on what to look at next. Thanks.
Ok new symptom... I drove it around town didn't some rat killin and now the motor is warm and the leak has stoped. ??
When you rebuilt the fuel bowl, did you look at the bottom of the bowl for corrosion? could be that, or the fuel restriction sensor and, of course the fuel pump.
Yeah the bowl seemed to be in good shape. Its leaking more twards the back of the motor the valley behind the fuel pump and under the turbo pedestal is filling up with fuel.

Try first tightening the banjo bolt (1 1/4" wrench), if not, possibly the fuel pump, you can use a mirror to see the wheep hole under the fuel pump in passenger side.
