I'm heading down to Clearwater the 27th of Feb. until the 3rd of March, to see the Phillies spring training and go to some of the local games. I'll be staying at the Comfort Suites on Edgewater Rd. and was looking for some good local restaurants to visit while in that area. Not chains, but stuff you would go to hang out, eat decent and not go broke. PM or text me any stuff you have. 2-six-7-three-0-three-9-two-9-three (cell/text). Looking forward to your input. Thanks
I like this MUCH better than -25°F. I've done the cold weather. The coldest I saw was about 200 miles (360km) north of you in Timmins, ON. Ford sent me there in January '92 and January '93 for cold weather testing. It hit -48°F one morning. That was actual temperature, not windchill.
I've also been to Yellowknife, NWT. That is a gold and diamond mining town. And also Thompson, Manitoba. They mine nickel there. I toured the mine once.
I've only been to each of these places in the winter. One day I'd like to see them in the summer, if I can pick the right day when it is summer!
I've also been to North Bay a few times, but when it was warm. SCCA used to run a rally series that had a rally in North Bay. I crewed for some friends that competed in that series.
