gauges?

is there a singe screen kinda like a programmer that will show me real time voltage, water temp and oil pressure, without buying a tuner?

Some scanners will give you real time readings.

do you have a suggestion? batteyr went and the batteyr gauge never moved, alt is now going out the batteyr light comes on, but the "gauge" never moves

I went with the programmer and don't have any recommendations for a code reader. but a quick search on Ebay showed a bunch of options between $20 and $100.

You may want to have your alternator checked. If it is good, then have your voltage sensor checked. My battery recently went south and my battery guage indicator swung down toward the L everytime I started the engine until I installed a new battery.

well my alt is bad, headlights are dimmer (new battery installed yesterday) dash lights dimmer, so it can only be the alt right?

Probably, did you install the battery yourself? If not, you could have a loose or dirty connection at the battery or a bad ground somewhere.

yes i installed it myself battery connections were tight, ground on the firewall tight, far as i know the connection on the starter is tight
