speedometer jumps

I replaced my gauge with an APC white face gauge. Now I noticed that when I first start to drive my speedometer needle jumps twice before it starts to move normal. any suggestions

I had the same problem when I tried my white faces, I ended up just pulling them off.

speedometer jumps

Does anyone else know anything about this....It started jumping after I placed the need back on after I installed a white face guage. Can I lubricated the needle with some machine oil?
